Online Library Catalogs

In addition to the catalog for Upper Hudson Library System, most libraries have an Online Public Access Catalog (OPAC)*. Below are catalogs for a number of area libraries and library systems.

http://catalog.sals.edu/	Mohawk Valley Library System (MVLS) includes libraries serving Fulton, Montgomery, Schenectady, and Schoharie counties.
http://catalog.sals.edu/	Southern Adirondack Library Association (SALS) includes libraries in Hamilton, Saratoga, Warren and Washington counties.
MVLS and SALS use a combined catalog.

http://www.cdlc.org/CaDiLaC/cadilac.shtml	Capital District Library Council (CDLC) is one of nine reference and research library resources (3R's) systems covering New York state. Capital District Library access Catalog (CaDiLaC) is a union catalog of the holdings of the libraries of the Capital District of New York state.
http://nysl.nysed.gov/	New York State Library and Archives is the premiere site for searching New York State history.
http://catalog.loc.gov/	The Library of Congress serves as the research arm of Congress and is recognized as the national library of the United States. Its collections comprise the world's most comprehensive record of human creativity and knowledge. Open to those above high school age without charge or special permission, it is the world's largest library and a great resource to scholars and researchers.
