Adult Sewing Tutorial

Have you always wanted to learn to sew but could never find the time or someone to teach you?  Then come to the library for a free sewing tutorial with Michelle Rodda!  We will learn to make a simple tote bag!  Please bring the following:

-5/8 yard of lightweight 100% cotton fabric (44/45” width, Novelty fabrics or quilters cottons are perfect weights)
-Thread to match fabric
-your own sewing machine if you have it (only a few are available to borrow)

Have you ever wanted to try those “Paint and Sip” classes you keep hearing about?  Well now is your chance!  Ages 18+ can come to our Paint and Sip w/Sam at the Library class!  Cost is $30  and must be paid at the time of registration.  Sam Noles is a local artist and educator and will be doing classes with the library once a month.  No experience or materials needed!

Space is limited so be sure to come in and pay today!

*Feel free to bring your own beverages; there may be attendees under 21 so please use discretion. Aprons will be provided but no need to wear your best clothing!


Adult Coloring Club

Wednesdays @ 5pm!

Let’s face it.  No matter how old you get, you still enjoy coloring.  Don’t be ashamed!  Come to the library and join our relaxing adult coloring club.  We provide the coloring sheets and the coloring pencils/crayons–you supply the wine!  Come by yourself or with a group of friends and spend some time relaxing, talking and coloring!

The book group meets on the second Tuesday of each month at the Library at 7 pm.

Book and Movie Series

This group meets on the third and fourth Fridays of every month, at 12:30. The first time we discuss the book, the second we watch the movie. You are welcome to come for either, or both weeks. Come for the book and movie; enjoy the refreshments!

Knitting Club

Whether it’s knitting, sewing or crocheting, you are more than welcome to come to the library to work on your project!  Share some techniques, tell a story, but most important make some friends while you work on creating something beautiful !
