Indian Lodges, by storyteller Gil Payette
Tuesday, Nov. 12th, 4:00 pm
Gil Payette’s niche as a professional storyteller is in Native American folklore, retold from his understanding of them. Originally from Cohoes, New York, Gil refined his storytelling skills in Tucson, Arizona for the past decade and has recently returned to the Capital District after a fifty year absence. Gil works stories and history into a series of illustrated presentations. The second event for the Brunswick Community Library will be a one hour program on Indian Lodges. Gil enthralled us in September, and we are so pleased to have him back. Come and learn why The Arizona Daily Star newspaper described Gil this way: “a gentle basso voice to bring a few minutes of rapt silence”.
